Five, four, three, two, one… Now you can launch your rocket into space!!! I don’t want to deceive you and say it is this easy to overcome procrastination. Even Mel Robbins, the writer of five seconds rule, does state she is not the inventor of a way to solve procrastination. She merely stated that that was her solution to her procrastination. Procrastination is big among professionals I come across. These professionals seem like they have it all under control. The MBA’s, professional memberships, flourishing careers, you name it. But deep inside they have merely accomplished what they set off to do.

My procrastination is not about getting out of bed as most people reported to me. Nor is it about getting some physical workouts, spending time with family, scheduling romantic time with your spouse, etcetera. I had overcome all these but was still battling with accomplishing my goals. The idea once came to me to produce videos, blog, articles. The only issue was procrastination. Yep, the disease without a cure.

“This is it!!! This is the day I start my video series.” I started being ecstatic on the camera. ”That was in November and now it's May the following year and only writing this article”

But I must say it is a difficult journey to start changing your internal clock. At the time you experience internal conflict and even reason on why should you do the uncomfortable thing. Without being conscious about it, tackling your internal clock could transition you from a walker to a runner. I hope this article be the start of many to come. I wouldn’t want to surrender to procrastination yet. I have also prepared an article and video below for your reading.
